ASPA has implemented the Customer Service component (CS) application to replace/complete a customized development that was done during the initial implementation of ERP in REMICA. We performed a study of the different developments and presented alternatives using the standard application Customer Service component offered by SAP in its ERP solution. Based on this study, it was decided which programs had to be maintained and adapted to the new application component which ceased to be used, and new needs were identified.
The project has been developed jointly, working directly with REMICA in project management, adapting programs implemented as part of the new application and the creation of new custom development. Particularly, there were replaced all developments relevant to reviews; functionality that was replaced by the corresponding standard version of plan preventive module PM (Plant Maintenance). With this project, REMICA has largely stopped using a customized development to start using a standard application component covered by the various SAP services and more integrated with the other modules. The project was carried out within October 2013 and May 2014.
