Metrovacesa – Readsoft Invoices .

ASPA conducted the adaptation connections of Readsoft Invoices into the new document management system implemented in Metrovacesa: Open Text. In order to change document manager, we had to take into account the fact that the images of the invoices had to be available both as SAP and Cockpit . It has been defined a process for migration and integration of Open Text images stored in the ancient Hummingbird Document Management System:
• Creating a loading program in SAP to create a record for each image.
• Creation of a reading program by Open Text for integrating records inserted by SAP.
• Creating a SAP extractor for metadata required by Open Text per image.
With this project, it has been made a change of document manager smoothly without loss of data migration and maintaining all the features used.
