ASPA has started the first implementation of the hybris Multichannel Commerce platform for the pharmaceutical industry in Spain.

Within the framework of the new regulation of Real Decreto 870/2013, that controls the online distribution of medicines, CECOFAR has trusted ASPA to lead the technological change required by the new regulation and to provide its network pharmacies with an eCommerce solution adapted to the specific legislation that must be accomplished by all pharmacy eshops.

The solution proposed by ASPA manages the OTC eShops (Over-The-Counter) together with the parapharmacies in a single hybris system, with the possibility to customize each pharmacy and to add new ones in an easy way.

The project includes the integration with the SAP ECC ERP system currently used by CECOFAR (orders, returns, stock) as well as the integration with a carrier and a payment gateway (Redsys)

It also includes specific functionalities from the pharmaceutical industry such as specific management of orders containing OTC medicines (with a pharmacist inspection), the batch management in return orders, weight and volume calculations, etc.

The project is being performed taking full advantage of the standard functionalities provided by the hybris platform and minimizing specific developments to achieve a time-to-market as fast and safe as possible.

The hybris modules to be implemented are: WCMS, PCM, B2C, Advanced personalization module, Order Management, Customer Service, Voucher, Promotions, Commerce Search Module, Search and Navigation module.
